  3. Animals leave clues all around us. On the ground, In the trees, Deep in the forests and In our backyards. To begin our search for animal clues, we must take a close look at their habitats. They're everywhere!

  4. Canine or Feline? As an Animal Detective you must be able to identify dog tracks and cat tracks. We will study the shape of the tracks to determine if they belong to a canine or feline.

  5. Why is scat important? Animal scat can tell you a lot about the animals you encounter in the forest and everyday life. • Animal identification • Size • Diet • Health • Near or far?

  6. CAVES Animals such as Insects, Woodrats and Bats make their homes in caves.
