  2. InternationalEco school In 2006 ourschoolwasdeclaredinternational Eco school. Inthe past seven yearsourstudentslearnedaboutandtookgood care oftheenvironment.

  3. Wecollectwaste paperinourschool. Studentsmade„ ​​ŽIRKO PAPIRKO“ fromthecollectedpaper. Theyuse it to dispose waste paperin it.

  4. ŽirkoPapirko as a carnival mask On thecarnival daystudentsused „ŽirkoPapirko“ as a carnival mask. Sohe brieflychanged his role andwent to carnival parade. On thedayofthecarnivalstudentsmade ​​maskfrom „ ŽirkoPapirko“.

  12. Studentsvisited one of the greenislands. A workerat the recyclingyardexplained the importance of collectingandsortingwaste for the environment.

  13. Diona – local supermarket Diona is a big supermarket chain. In Glina wehavetwosupermarkets. Theyrepurchase old plastic & glass bottles, cans, etc. Alsotheycollect old cardboard.

  14. In every supermarket in Croatia, as Diona , people bring plastic or glass bottles and aluminum cans and they get 7 cents for each bottle or can. In front of the supermarket there is a press for collecting old andusedcardboardandpaper.

  15. In Glina wehave a companycalledFerosirovina. Wevisitedthecompanyandlearned a fewthings.

  16. Theycollect all sort of waste.

  17. Mister Igor hasshownandexplained us how to collectandsortwaste. Wehaveseendifferentironobjects- old cars, electromotors, houseappliances, aluminiumplates, old paperandtires. Wefoundout how to gather, sortandtransport waste to fabricswheretheyprocessthemto new products.

  18. Welearnedthatbycollectingandprocessingwaste wecansave some money andtakeextracare ofourenvironment.

  19. Studentsvisited one of the biggestglassfactories in Central Europe - VETROPACK. Studentswereintroducedwith the entireproductionprocess of makingglassbythe comapnytechnicalmanager.

  20. Firsttheygrind the oldglass, thentheymeltitand in the endmakenewproducts.
