Traits of false teachers • They claim to speak for God; they claim to teach in his name(Jer 14:14-15; 2 Cor 11:12-15; Matt 7:22 – and many more)
Traits of false teachers • They appear within the church; they are not just in other places (Deut 13:6-8; Acts 20:29-30; 1 Pet 3:1-3 – and many more).
Traits of false teachers • They are convincing; they are gifted speakers(Rom 16:18; Col 2:4, 8; 2 Tim 4:3).
Traits of false teachers • They claim to work miracles on God’s behalf(Deut 13:1-3; Matt 24:24; 2 Thess 2:9-10).
Traits of false teachers • They are sincere; they believe they are God’s messengers (Ezek 13:6; Matt 7:22).
