  4. It was also tragic because: Their father gets taken on a prison ship by cow-boys and dies. Pg.165

  5. Another example of why it is tragic: When Colonel Read came in and told Tim and his mother that Sam’s punishment of being accused of stealing cattle is getting shot. Pg. 192

  6. The story is most tragic because: Sam gets shot for being accused of stealing his family’s cattle when he was really trying to catch the people who did. Pg. 208
