  2. Child Hood • At 4 years old her older sister taught her how to do 1 hand cart wheel. • At 6 years she went to a local gym. • In 2004 she was crowed gymnastics champion. • Gabby Douglas was born on December 31,1995 in Virginia Beach.

  3. Facts • Gabby is 17 years old. -She weighs 89.9 pounds. • She is 4’ 11” - When Gabby was 14 she left her hometown and family and went to West Des Moines.

  4. Olympics Gabby practiced with her coach Liang chow. In 2010 she made her first scene in front of the camera. Placing forth all round, she also placed third on the balance beam, 6 on the vault and 9 all around in the division of her first elite meet. 2011 she won a gold medal for the US in Japan.
