  2. You need to configure the wireless settings and test the Xbox LIVE connection. The steps vary slightly, depending on the console’s software. • My screen looks like this:

  3. Configure the wireless settings 1. On the console, go to My Xbox, and then select System Settings. 2. Select Network Settings. 3. Select the name of the wireless network. Note :If you do not see the wireless network, select Advanced Options. Then select Specify Unlisted Network, and enter the wireless network name. Next, you are prompted to choose the security type.

  4. 4. Enter the wireless network password. 5. Select Yes if you are prompted to update the console software. When you successfully connect to Xbox LIVE, the screen will look like this:

  6. Configure the wireless settings 1. On the console, go to My Xbox, and then select System Settings. 2. Select Network Settings. 3. Select Configure Network. 4. On the Basic Settings tab, select Wireless Mode.

  7. 5. Select Scan for Networks. • 6. Select the wireless network name. • 7. Enter the wireless network password, and then select Done. • 8. Select Test Xbox LIVE Connection. • 9. Select Yes when you are prompted to update the console software. Once the console software is updated.
