  2. Adjectives/Adjectivos: Words that describe people & things are called adjectives. In spanish most adj. have both masculine & Feminine forms- Masculine forms usually end in „o“ and feminine forms usually end in „a“! Gender MUST match what you are describing Ex.: Marco (m) es perezoso. Magarita (f) es perezosa.

  3. Some adjectives do NOT end in „o“--they may end in „e“ or „dor“ Example: Lola (f) es impaciente. Marco (m) es impaciente. Marco (m) es trabajador. Lola (f) es trabajadora.

  4. Adjectives ending in “-ista“, like deportista do not change their ending- used for both masc. & feminine. Ex: Marco es deportista. Lola es deportista.

  5. Adjectives must agree in gender & number Ex: Pedro (m+s) es simpatico. Pedro y Jorge (m+p) son simpáticos. Suzana y Carlota son (f+p) graciosas. Suzana y Jorge (m+p) son graciosos.

  6. Make the sentence agree in gender & # atrevido • Juan es ______ . (daring) • Pablo y Pedro son __________. (impatient) • Nora es ________. (nice) • Maria y Lana son __________. (hard- working) • La chica es ___________. (mysterious) • Jorge y Delia son _________. (talented) • Pablo y Arturo son_________. (hard-working) • Josefina es muy _________ .
