SAT MATH. It is a trick. 1. A polygon has 90 diagonals. How many sides does it have?. d = n(n-3)/2. 90 = n(n-3)/2. 180 = n 2 – 3n. n2 – 3n – 180 = 0. (n – 15)(n + 12) = 0. n-15 = 0 or n + 12 = 0. n = 15 or n = -12.
