Workshop Process • Work for Consensus and Unity of Effort … • SAVE your work daily - “track changes” AND with “changes accepted” at end of each day; note different VERSION file name for each day. And have a back up on on “thumb drive” in a folder for EACH day – this greatly assists if something is misplaced) • Terminology – All workgroups are involved • Mr Maxfield will describe the procedures for input • Final AAR - 20 minute recap of the groups’ major work at the end of the week – format on your workgroup computers • Final Integration: After the Workshop (final review, formatting, and aligning to the rest of the SOP) conducted in Hawaii by MPAT Secretariat; new SOP version posted to web with a target of being fully posted within 12 weeks after Workshop completion.
Work Group ProductsEnd State • Final Products (on approved Thumb Drive and verified per Workgroup schedules for turn in Thursday) • Final AAR Slides from each group • SOP Sections Updated (showing “track changes”) • SOP Sections Updated (with “track changes accepted”) • PowerPoint files for any diagrams (keep black and white to minimize bandwidth requirements on Internet) Properly Formatted! Support Material • Two computers per Work Group • One reference computer (connected to internet) • One working computer (with work group chapter, annex, appendix) for SOP changes Note: Terminology has more computers to support their operation • On each computer -- Final AAR Brief Format • Printer • Limited Use Only!!! Contact Operations Officer for use (through email accounts) • Computer Security Comments – daily / overnight • No thumb drives in computer other than MPAT APPROVED (Workgroup leaders have one each)– back up all work daily (create folder for each day on thumb drive.) Final documents placed in Thursday Folder in respective thumb drives . • To obtain copies of briefs and final draft Workgroup documents – go to www.mpat.org -- they will be posted on the “MNF SOP Tab” (www.mpat.org) immediately after the completion of the Workshop for immediate downloading by participants.
