She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from ITAM, Mexico, and her M. Phil in Economics from the University of Cambridge, UK. Thereafter, she attended EHESS, Paris and completed her Ph. D in Economics, with Dissertation on the topic of “Foreign Debt Negotiations: An Historical and Theoretical Analysis”.
