What You Are To Do: • You will partner up: you will be two friends who are living somewhere in Europe at the time of the Black Death (1345), you two decide to leave because everyone in your town is getting the black death: You need to create a survival plan/guide: • You two need to work together to create a list of what you will bring with you for when you leave (keep in mind you only have one horse each) (These items need to be realistic for the time) • You two need to draft a short letter that you will leave for those you leave behind and also a short letter to give to any guards you encounter while leaving • You need to plan your travel routes: will you travel North, to populated areas? Where would be the best place to go to survive? • If you meet another pair travelling with the same goals as yours what will you do with them? Join them, fight them, etc? Be specific • What skills do you each bring with you to help you survive? How will you get resources? • Lastly any other details for your survival plan that you can think of? • Once you are done you get me to approve your plan, if I disapprove your plan than you will die. Be ready to defend your decisions • We will see who has the best plan to survive the Black Plague in the class.
