  2. Can we make a rule? • Adjectives which describe a male or masculine object have an o on the end. • Adjectives which describe a female or feminine object have an a on the end.

  3. El chico alegre El niño joven Los chicos bonitos Los chicos jóvenes La chica alegre La niña joven Las chicas bonitas Las chicas jóvenes

  4. Can we make a rule? • Adjectives that end in e or a consonant refer to both genders. • To make an adjective plural, add –s if it ends with a vowel, -es if it ends with a consonant.
