  5. Use the minimum amount of energy to heat, cool, and ventilate • the facility. Use active chilled beams in lieu of traditional systems to reduce Fan energy in the building. • Reuse energy that has been purchased in the building whenever possible. • Energy recovery wheels on exhaust air from building to precondition incoming • ventilation air. • Extract heat from the IT server room and use it to heat other areas of the building • with heat pumps.
