  7. Topical Time Archive • Creating the Topical Time pdf files • Initial scans and optical character recognition (ocr) were done by Todd Ronnei (over 30,000 pages) • Towards the end of the project, Chris Steenerson improved the ocr and the searchability of the pdf

  8. Topical Time Archive • Each issue is an Adobe pdf • Readable on virtually all operating systems • Many browsers can read a pdf • These pdf files are searchable • Many different programs available to read, search or edit a pdf

  17. Topical Time Archive Now that you have found the article you may save that in separate file. You can search TT and pull out all articles or items of interest and write your own book

  18. Topical Time Archive This method of searching assumes that you know which issues of TT to search. Since you seldom do know which issues to search you have to use an index.
