  2. Introduction On the 21st June, the 124th Wimbledon kicks off on the green grass courts on centre court. Wimbledon 2009 saw Roger Federer collect his sixth Wimbledon and a record 15th Grand Slam title after a thrilling men's final. In the ladies' event, Serena Williams defeated her sister Venus for the third time in a Wimbledon final. Both champions have their eyes set on reclaiming the prestigious grass court crowns in 2010. TVNZ have exclusive live coverage of this years event, which is regarded as the centrepiece of world tennis.
