  5. WORKING ENVIROMENT • Most 70 % work in a large hospital, physician and dentist offices, pharmacists. • Medical School and University • Diagnostic Imaging Centers • Usually work 40 hours weeks • May work days, evenings, and weekend shifts.

  6. Length of Training A two- years Associate Degree (AA) is required

  7. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION • Certification is voluntary, it is strongly • to be cone certify an individual must have graduated from an accredited education program with a associate degree • Pass an examination given by a board of registry • ASCP, AMT, NCA, NCAMLP
