More is still required to transform the media sector, in particular the print media. • Sustainability is a challenge for small and new print media operators, more so given the printing and distribution costs. Further, the MDDA print funding base is not growing to support this sector. • The Agency is working on developing long-term plans to address challenges of funding for the print media support, including providing low-interest loan in partnership with other development finance institutions.
