New Datafiles • Create List data in excel first (easier to manipulate and most users are familiar with this format) then import into QuickBooks • Time savers for templates (keeping company branding & image) • How to create multiple datafiles quickly incl preferences and settings • Create price levels and terms etc prior to importing in customers • Create User Security (in Enterprise) then duplicate and edit

Inventory • Client doesn’t want to use stock (or it is a mess) but you don’t want to have to recreate all items again • Inventory Assemblies – if you have many assemblies but with the same core components create one & then duplicate the assembly and rename/edit as required • When inventory valuation report doesn’t match balance sheet figure (due to inactive & journals etc)
