  2. Research Area • I intend to look into the silent movie genre of film. As well as looking into still image movies and hopefully combining the two aspects. • My researched practitioners are: Charlie Chaplin and Chris Marker.

  3. Practitioners • Charlie Chaplin -Born: 16th April 1889 -Most famous work: The Tramp • Charlie Chaplin: The Potato Dance, (Gold Rush, 1925). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ww5pb-z0o0I

  5. Objectives/Production Skill • To use a still image camera to create a narrative, showing all different types of emotion. • To create a AV Script which will guide me through which shots I will need. • To create a small Script for a narrator to help the viewer understand the film. • To merge the characteristics of both Charlie Chaplin and Chris Marker.

  6. My Idea • My idea is called “The Runner” It focuses on a male jogging through a park. He stumbles upon another person lying on the floor. The male is unsure of what to do, and this is where his mind argues why he should or should not help the other human. The movie will then show the consequences of the decision he finally makes.

  7. Personnel • Director, Photographer and editor, will be myself. • I will hire other people to fill the roles which I need to complete my movie.

  8. Time Frame • October 2012 – January 2013: Planning. • January 2013 – February 2013: Filming. • February 2013 – April 2013: Editing and re shoots (if Necessary)

  9. Methods On How My Learning Objectives Have Been Achieved • I will show my first edit of my film to a few people and give them feedback forms. After going through these forms I will then improve my movie, in the ways which may be suggested. • I will then show a final edit of the film and see if the concerns raised previously have been addressed.
