  1. Visit the official site of McAfee which is www.mcafee.com/activate. • Press on “My Account” button. • After that, “Log In” by clicking the registered email ID and a protected password of the McAfee account. • In case you are not a member of McAfee, then you have to create an account first by entering the email ID and a protected password. After typing all the details, click on the “Register Now” button. • Press on the “Download” option. • Read the terms and conditions for downloading and installing McAfee and then press the “I Agree” option. • Note the identification number which comes on the screen. Make sure that the identification number page should remain open on the display so that it does not get removed. • Go through the guidelines given on the screen for installing the McAfee antivirus.

Now, go to the McAfee site mcafee.com/activate. • Log in to the email account by typing the email address and password to get the activation code which will be in that email account. • Copy and paste that activation code on the Notepad. • Go to the “Taskbar and after that, click on the “McAfee setup” icon. • You will see that button in the “Dock” folder or by using the “Finder” tab and after that, you will get the McAfee setup downloaded on the device. • Press twice on the McAfee setup. • Click on the “Activate” option. • Type the 25-digit alphanumeric activation code on the provided column. • Let the McAfee setup to complete its activation procedure.
