Theme Passage: Isaiah 40 31 “But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run & not be weary, They shall walk & not faint”
1) Recharging Our Mind Gives Us a Basis For Understanding Life- II Tim 1:7 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power & of love & of a sound mind.
God has given us a sound mind, which means that we have the ability for safe, disciplined judgment & the ability to make deliberate, correct choices in life.
Recharging involves our mind being directed by the Spirit of God: Romans 8 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life & peace.
Recharging involves our mind being directed by the Spirit of God: 1 Cor 2 10 but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. NIV
Recharging involves our mind being directed by the Spirit of God: 1 Cor 2 11 For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. NIV
Recharging involves our mind being directed by the Spirit of God: 1 Cor 2 12 We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. NIV

Let your mind be transformed (metamorphoo-change in form)& not conformed (scheme- schematic) to the world (age in which we live).
