Production 2006 • Estimated worldwide production of raw cashew nuts 2006: 1,502,000 MT • Asia: 665,000 MT (India, Vietnam, Indonesia and Cambodia). • Brazil: 250,000 MT • East Africa: 149,000 MT (Tanzania, Mozambique, Kenya, Madagascar • West Africa: 438,000 MT (Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea Bissau, Nigeria, Benin, Senegal, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Mali, Guinea Conakry)

  5. Production & Processing: Brazil & East Africa

  6. Production & Processing: West Africa

  7. 14 processing countries Ghana, Burkina Faso, Mali and Guinea Conakry have no processing industry operational currently.
