Presentation: Evidence By Sarah Corthorne 11ChiS
Having completed my 4 publications, I moved on to making the presentation which will be used to promote the WildCare Trust. It will be used by WildCare staff at a series of events in local schools. Before starting my presentation, I looked at the DiDA brief in order to see what I needed to include. I discovered that the presentation must: With this in mind, I created my presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint software…
I have also deselected the ‘advance on mouse click’ option so that the only way to change slide is to back to the home slide and select the button for the slide you want to see, for increased efficiency. Pack Folder: Second Draft I have included my four own-drawn logos which is consistent with my corporate identity (these are ‘relevant images’ I have created buttons which link to each slide, and a button on each slide which links back to the home page for efficiency. My test-buddy feedback was: “WWW: You have included all of the necessary slide/information! Good colours, nice pictures and a good home screen. There are not too many words and good use of the logo as the home button. EBI: Put in speaker notes, as you seem to have forgotten to. Also, you could cut down the amount of words on some slides.” It is based on a master slide which contains my background and the home page link as I want these to feature on EVERY SLIDE.
As shown, I have improved on my draft presentation by adding speaker notes, as suggested in my test-buddy feedback. Presentation: Final I have also slightly cut down the amount of text per slide, so that it is concise! I have increased the main text font size to size 20, so that it is easy to read from a distance.
