The following is a 1972 Pulitzer Prize (prize awarded to journalists, writers, photographers, etc. for achievement in their field) winning photo of 9 yr. old Kim Phuc just minutes after her village had been bombed with Napalm. Her body was severely burned and she barely survived. She has since had 17 surgeries to repair damaged skin from the Napalm. Kim Phuc
