Recycling in Lubbock • We’re proposing a research study to try to re-implement a recycling program in Lubbock, Texas. • Currently, 1% of the Lubbock population (out of 242,268 residents) recycles.
Why Recycle? • Save trees • Protect Wildlife diversity • Reduce use of toxic chemicals • Curb global warming • Stem the flow of water pollution • Reduce need for landfills

Budget • $150 per team, per hour • 130 hours (32.5 hours per week) • Total = $19,500
