  2. Basic Background • The guitar was created hundreds of years ago, and many variations have been created since. There are multiple types of guitars, but we will be going over these and some guitar facts and how to play.

Types of Guitars • There are two basic types of guitars: Acoustic and electric • Acoustic guitars are played and are amplified by the hollow part in them that projects the sounds • Electric guitars are amplified by an actual amplifier, and these can be very loud and electric guitars are typically used in rock concerts
