  5. CMDSM – point system • Attain 150 professional points • Professional experience • MSMA experience • Non-MSMA experience • Education • Test • 135 multiple choice questions • 5 essay questions • 4 hour exam

CMDSM - Points • 150 Total point required to take test • Mail experience Max 80 points • MSMA experience Max 60 points • Non-MSMA Max 40 points • Education Max 60 points • Example PCC Member 1 point per year max 3 • Leadership PCC 1 point 3 max • CUMSA member 1 point 3 max • National Event 5 point per full registration • Bachelor Degree 10 points

CMM – Re-certification • Every 5 years • Cost $100 member, $200 non member • No test, point system, 15 points • Education course .1 for each hour • Membership 1 per year max of 5 • IPMA conference 1 per year max of 5 • Articles 1 per article max of 5 • Exam proctor 1 per full test 5 max • Volunteer leadership 1 per year 5 max • Speech or instruction 1 per hour 5 max
