  3. UI installation • Start from a fresh install of Scientific Linux 5 64 bit Emidio Giorgio – DCISS - 11 July 2011

Install the EMI UI • Download and install rpm configuring EMI repository • yum install ntp • Configure ca.repo • Configure epel repo • yum update • Solve commonly dependencies • yum install ca-policy-egi-core • yum install emi-ui • Configure for EMI usage • Configuration are based on EMI preview testbed Emidio Giorgio – DCISS - 11 July 2011

  8. dCache & webDAV • Latest versions of dCache supports webDAV, providing standards based access from users’ desktop/web browser

Argus • Argus is a system to make consistent authorization decisions for distributed resources • PAP : author consistent decision policies (Administration) • PDP : evaluate consistently policies (Decision) • PEP : provide consistently data to be evaluated against policies (Execution) Emidio Giorgio – DCISS - 11 July 2011
