  2. PAST SUCCESS • 2007 • Replaced old (1960s) water pumps for 7 well fields • Water utility costs decreased by 11% • $15,529/yr (2008 $)

  3. PAST SUCCESS, cont’ • Installed remote monitoring and control system (SCADA) for water pumps • 3 FTE drivers to 2 PT • Savings: $50,000 • Salary/benefits: $40,000 • Mileage: saved 36,000mi. • 3 F-150s to 2 NEVs • Gas: $7280 • 25 Tons GHGE • Less maintenance

  4. PAST SUCCESS, cont’ • Automated garbage pick-up system • 6 diesel-fueled vehicles 6 days/wk to: • 4.5 vehicles 5 days/wk ►Maintaining Services • Above energy/other efficiencies led to: ☺29 workers off of Friday furlough
