How to register names? • Membership to partner associations proves affiliation to the Aviation Community • Strict requirements - only for valid aviation companiesand suppliers • Aviation members receive ID’s (free of charge) • Aviation id and password from registrar provides validation to register domains in .aero • About $100 per name/year www.information.aero
Aviation Community Membership ID • Required for every domain name registration • Determines the Registrant Group and privileges to register names • One entity may receive more than one ID, if it belongs to more than one Registrant Group • Issued centrally by .aero Office (automatically or following a manual review) • ID record contains • Organization name, contact person (email or fax), ID and password string, registrant group, code element (where industry code applies)
