4. Foreword • Information and communication technology (ICT) has become, within a very short time, one of the basic building blocks of modern society. 7. Vision • To ensure that every educator and manager has the means to obtain aLaptop Computer, get training on how to integrate ICT into their Curriculum, Collegial Support ,administration and personal use.

Mission • Every South African learner in the General and Further Education and Training bands will be ICT capable (that is use ICTs confidently and creatively, for personal use ,Professional Development, Administration and Integrate into the Curriculum, in an E- School, E – community, through E – learning and teaching) by 2013.
