Representativeness selection of households: • the statistical sample for collection of information has been defined • guarantee of representative sample for the measurement and for the surveying campaigns: • regional representativeness, covering four regions of Portugal (north, south, centre region and Lisbon region) with different climates and different standards of living • structural criteria like: range of consumption, type of household • random selection of customers (preferably those having Remote Meters installed, based on a database from the utility.
