1. Registration Procedures • Register online at USAHockeyregistration.com • Click ‘Register Now’ • Pay fee for your level (Lev1-$25, Lev2-$60, Lev3-$80, Lev4-$90) • Open Book test and rule book received by mail.

Registration Procedures • USA Hockey online registration • Visit: USAHockeyRegistration.com – follow the prompts • You will need: Officials number, Full Name and date of birth, Home Address, Telephone, Zip, e-mail address, and Credit card (Visa or MasterCard) • Take Open book Exam from USA hockey (on-line open book exam is now available) • Minimum passing scoreRetake policies and procedures • 1st – 7 day wait, 2nd & Final – 14 day wait • Register and complete district seminar and closed book exam • Completion of seminar is sent to USA Hockey • When completed with all requirements • Card and Crest are sent from national office

3. Top 12 registration problems • 12 – Hyphenated names or ‘Jr’ need to be entered EXACTLY for all on-line correspondence • 11 – Calling Colorado or RIC with questions before calling your supervisor • 10 – Yes….you do have to register Every Year! • 9 – Not applying because you are already a coach/player then using that registration number • 8 – No exam score or seminar verification happens until you are registered • 7 – Returning Officials not knowing their officials number stays the same every year • 6 – New Officials not saving their e-mail that gives them their officials number • 5 – These same officials swearing that their official number is ‘2008-Temp’ • 4 – Retake exams are not available after 60 days • 3 – Not understanding you need to register BEFORE you take the open book exam • 2 – Officials trying to take the open book exam 30 seconds after they register • 1 – Officials beliving that the seminar registration is the same as applying to USA Hockey
