  1. Windows Security Center • جدار الحماية .Firewall • التحديثات التلقائية .Automatic updating • حماية البرامج الضارة Malicious software protection • إعدادات الأمان الأخرى Other security settings مركز الامن يعرض الإخطار ويضع رمز مركز الأمن في منطقة الإعلام. انقر فوق الإعلام أو انقر نقرا مزدوجا فوق رمز مركز الأمن لفتح مركز الأمان والحصول على معلومات حول كيفية حل المشكلة.

  2. جدار الحماية .Firewall • جدار الحماية هو برنامج أو جهاز أن يتحقق من المعلومات القادمة من الإنترنت أو الشبكة، ومن ثم إما يرفض أو يسمح لها بالمرور إلى جهاز الكمبيوتر الخاص بك، اعتمادا على إعدادات جدار الحماية. • يمكن أن يساعد جدار الحماية في منع المتطفلين أو البرامج الضارة (مثل الديدان) من الوصول إلى جهاز الكمبيوتر الخاص بك من خلال شبكة أو الإنترنت. يمكن أن يساعد جدار الحماية أيضا إيقاف الكمبيوتر من إرسال برامج ضارة إلى أجهزة الكمبيوتر الأخرى. • الجدران النارية سيساعد في ابعاد الديدان والمتسللين، لكنها ليست مصممة للحماية من الفيروسات، لذا يجب تثبيت واستخدامبرامج مكافحة الفيروسات. يمكن للفيروسات تأتي من المرفقات في رسائل البريد الإلكتروني، والملفات على أقراص مدمجةأو أقراص فيديو رقمية ، أو الملفات التي تم تحميلها من الإنترنت. 

  3. لتشغيل جدار حماية ويندوز Click to open Security Center. Click Firewall, and then click Turn on now • إذا تمت مطالبتك عن كلمة مرور مسئول أو تأكيد ، اكتب كلمة المرور أو توفير التأكيد.

  4. تمكين التحديث التلقائي في ويندوز إكسبي: Click Start, click Control Panel, click Performance and Maintenance(الأداء والصيانة), and then click System. On the Automatic Updates tab, click the setting of your choice

  5. هناك ثلاثة أنواع مختلفة من الحسابات  (قياسي)1-Standard 2-Administrator 3-Guest كل نوع حساب يعطي المستخدم مستوى مختلف من السيطرة على جهاز الكمبيوتر. الحساب القياسي هو حساب لاستخدام الحوسبة اليومية. حساب المسئول يوفر معظم السيطرة على جهاز الكمبيوتر، ويجب استخدامه فقط عند الضرورة. حساب الضيف هو في المقام الأول بالنسبة للأشخاص الذين يحتاجون إلى الوصول مؤقتة إلى جهاز الكمبيوتر.

  7. Log on to your computer as an administrator. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

  8. Under Pick a category, click User Accounts.

  9. Under Pick a task, click Create a new account.

  10. the User Accounts wizard, on the Name the new account page, type the name for the user. You can use the person's full name, first name, or a nickname. Then click Next.

  11. The User Accounts wizard displays the Pick an account type page. Click Limited, and then click Create Account.
