HISTORY First flight of the Djinn in 1951 • Training centre set up in 1958 • Objective: • Certify on different types of Eurocopter aircrafts : • Flight crew • Technicians • In May 2006, the training center has become a 100% Eurocopter subsidiary: Eurocopter Training Services (ETS) • 38 000 have already been rated at ETS • 1412 trainees in 2006 • 437 pilots • 975 technicians Nowadays flight of the NH90

  3. LOCATION • Eurocopter Training Services site is located : • 25 km from Marseille and Aix-en-Provence • Right besides Marseille-Provence International airport • Inside Eurocopter site, close to the assembly lines

SYSTEM STANDARDS • ETS has established an internal quality process • The objective was to improve customers satisfaction and quality of the courses • ETS is now certified on every Eurocopter aircraft: • - EASA PART 147 for technicians courses • - JAR FCL2 for pilots courses • - Recognized under Civil Aviation Authorities

Standard courses: minimum level required on Eurocopter aircrafts i.e. Type Rating, Refresh, Conversion… Operational courses: adapted to the customers requirements i.e. hoist, NVG, Mechanical Assembly, Composite courses… Customised courses: upon request, ETS is able to build any course, thanks to its instructors proficiency These training courses can be displayed: in Marignane « In Situ »: at your own facility Through new stand-alone training media such as Computer Based Training ( CBT) or Web Based Training (WBT) TRAINING OFFER CBT/WBT software

  7. RESOURCES • EXPERIENCED INSTRUCTORS • A team of 50 instructors including : • 13 avionics • 18 mechanics • 9 ground pilots • 10 flight pilots • Strong helicopter background and individual expertise

  10. INFORMATION / SECURITY • BADGE A badge will be provided on arrival. It should be displayed at all times during your visit to ETS. • PERSONAL BELONGINGS For any computer equipment brought on the site a clearance pass is needed. The use of photographic and recording equipment is strictly forbidden. • PRIVATE VEHICLES Private vehicles are admitted in the training centre with a specific pass. (Kindly inquired to the logistic team). Dedicated car park. • MOVEMENTS IN AND AROUND THE ETS PREMISES Except at the training centre and the campus restaurant, you should be accompanied at all times by an ETS staff member for any move inside the factory.
