Joint Urban 2003 – Atmospheric DispersionStudy in Oklahoma City • Major urban study with following components: • Characterization of urban boundary layer • Measurement of flow within and downwind of tall building core • Investigation of flows in street canyon including effects of traffic on turbulence • Measurement of surface energy balance in urban area • Dispersion of tracer into, out of, and within buildings (indoor dispersion) • Dispersion of tracer throughout the tall building core and to four km downwind from release
