Our artistic team designs shows from 15 minutes to an hour for conventions or gala diners: choreographies and visual effects fuse in seamless succession. Our motto: Elegance and sobriety. BIOGRAPHIE BIOGRAPHIE THE BIRTH OF PASSION Everything started when he was barely 10 years old: the boy spends more than 6 hours a day manipulating cards and reading magic books. But despite this burning desire to perform, his parents encourage him to pursue an academic endeavor. International finance studies lead him to Boston USA where Laurent spends 3 years and meets many great illusionists. On top of his studies, he works part time in the biggest East coast magic store. Laurent graduates from Northeastern University and obtains his MBA. Back in France he obtains a joint degree at one of France’s top business school and Birmingham University in the UK. One sentence changed a life. As he was reading the Picture of Dorian Gray, one of Oscar Wilde’s aphorisms makes his whole beliefs tumble over and literally transform his life: he makes one decision, to live life fully: goodbye statistics, corporate finance and auditing, Laurent becomes an illusionist. PEER RECOGNATION Laurent wins 2 prizes at the French National championships of magic in 1998, as he puts together a unique, choreographed, manipulation act which will make him travel all over the world. In 2004, Laurent wins the Grand Prize of the Monte Carlo Magic Stars, an award bestowed upon him by SAS Prince Albert de Monaco. A NEW LOK AT ILLUSION Played since 2007 at “théâtre Trévise” in Paris, Paradoxes enthralls a surprised audience which discovers the prose and wit of Oscar Wilde thanks to the language of illusion. On stage Laurent makes choreographies, and visual effects collide and makes us confront the nature of paradox: through the sheer force of striking imagery, the clash between old fashioned magic modern illusions.
