Goals • Common Windows 2000 Active Directory • Populated by automation from central official sources where practical • Common Exchange 2000 Architecture • Unify mail clouds to reduce “surprises” • Careful mixture of central and local (departmental) services and control

Pre-Deletion Notification • Blazer Directory (authoritative) entries live on • Active Directory accounts/mailboxes must be removed due to cost upon end of active affiliation • Students (1 year after last class) • Faculty/Staff (3 months) • Pre-deletion notification
