Statistics for Mission A look at what is changing for 2011/12
What’s New? • A New National Stats Site has been • developed, including questions about: • Community Activities/groups • Ecumenical & Inter-Faith relationships • Fresh Expressions & Christian Development • LEPs in a more useful way to local LEP teams [Note: most of these were not available nationally last year – only the 8 districts in the pilot were able to capture this information]
What’s Improved for LEPs stats? • The new form allows for different LEP constitutions – it begins by asking how many people below to the LEP irrespective of denomination • The new form removes the need to apportion out where people are from who have transferred in/out, died, etc
A Fresh Start for all…. • The new site needs all FRESH information so that all 33 districts report the same type of information. • This means for those churches who were in the Stats pilot: • Churches need to download their Stats reports from 2010 (passwords have been removed and printable forms available to enable easy access) • Churches need to re-input the 2010 information into the new national 2011 site (note this is less detailed than last years questions so quicker….) • Churches NOT in the 2010 pilot will have to start from scratch (without any information about community related work as none entered in 2010)
What does it look like? Please note we are hoping to automate transfer of some of the existing information churches provided in 2010 - but in case this is not possible, the forms from last year are freely available do download at https://www.stats4mission.org.uk/begin
