Charley the “Ch” Brother • Charly has a favorite toy. It is a train. • He likes trains so much that he says “ch, ch, ch” all day long. • Charley is the crazy brother.
Theo the “Th” brother • The th brother is the youngest brother. He is also the naughtiest. He always likes to stick his tongue out and say “th, th, th.” • Theo is the impolite brother.
Whit the “Wh” brother • The wh brother always wanted to be a police officer. However, he can’t whistle. All he can say is “wh, wh, wh”. • Whit is the musical brother.
Shane the “Sh” brother • The sh brother is the oldest brother. He is always telling his younger brothers to be quite by saying, “sh, sh, sh”. • Shane is the quiet brother.
Notes for the “H-Brothers” • Wh, th, sh, ch are consonant teams or consonant digraphs. They are two letters that when put together they make one sound. • To make a connection between the four consonant digraphs, they are called the “H-Brothers”.
