Currently 27 primary schools delivering early years education in Swindon • Of these… • 10 have maintained nursery classes for 2 year olds • A further 8 run a nursery class under the Governing Body of the school • 30% of 2, 3 and 4 year old children are accessing all or part of their funding entitlement through a maintained nursery class with a qualified teacher. Rates 17/18 3 and 4 year olds • £4.00 per hour = settings offering funded hours term time only, less than 10 hours per day (£3.86 + £0.14 enhancement) • £4.35 per hour = settings offering funded hours at least 48 weeks per year, less than 10 hours per day (£3.86 + £0.14 enhancement + £0.35 flex supplement) • £4.70 per hour = settings offering funded hours at least 48 weeks per year, and 10 or more consecutive hours per day.  (£3.86 + £0.14 enhancement + £0.70 higher level flex supplement) 2 year olds All settings receive £5.32p/h Early Years Funding Early Education & Childcare
