Currently 27 primary schools delivering early years education in Swindon • Of these… • 10 have maintained nursery classes for 2 year olds • A further 8 run a nursery class under the Governing Body of the school • 30% of 2, 3 and 4 year old children are accessing all or part of their funding entitlement through a maintained nursery class with a qualified teacher.
