  8. Attention NC!Auditions for our fall play, Twelfth Night,will be held Today & Tomorrow,Sept. 2 & 3 in the auditorium immediately after school!!!All are welcome!

What is “Theatre ‘lympics?” • 8 students from each CC high school will be sent to CCC for the day and grouped into teams • Each team will play improv games and create an improv scene of their own • At 7pm, the teams will compete against one another in games similar to the likes of “Whose Line is it Anyway?” • When: Saturday, September 13 @ 10am- 9pm • Where: Carroll Community College

  10. Hashawa Outdoor School Counselors If you are interested in participating in outdoor school this year, please apply at the counseling office by 9/5. Dates are: 9/29-10/3 11/10-11/14 2/2-2/6 5/18-5/22

  12. FCA Our first FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) meeting will be today during SET. We’ll meet in the upper gym. If you want to be a part of it please contact Mr. Dodson, Mary Guest, Somer Ledley, or Caleb Loudermilk.

S.E.T. and THE MEDIA CENTER The Media Center will accommodate up to 25 students for SET providing space and opportunity for looking for quiet study, finding resources for an assignment, makeup work, quiet reading, printing, and other tasks. Here are some guidelines to remember: Use the SET signup list on the Circulation Desk to ask to be requested. Enter only your own name. Sign up by 8:30 am to have your name entered for that day. When requested, check in with your advisor before coming down. On arrival, Highlight your name on the attendance check-in printout sheet. Having your name on the list does not guarantee entry--Teacher requests have priority and may trump a Media request in the system. Questions? See Ms. Dulany or Mrs. Beall

  17. We will be meeting this coming Thursday, September 4th from 2:30 to approximately 4:00. Our next shipment of parts have arrived, so we will likely be building the robot at this meeting. Attention North Carroll Robotics Team:

  19. Job openings- Any job opening will be posted outside the career center on the second floor.  Several job openings have come in this week. If you need a part-time after school job, check the wall for more information. 

  20. Interested in attending a Military Academy? All five academies will host a presentation at Bel Air High school on Tuesday Sept. 23 from 6- 8:30pm For more information and how to respond stop in the Counseling Office.

A bus will be provided free  from Manchester Valley to any student interested in attending and needs transportation. Bus leaves at 5:30 and returns around 8:15.  Sign up in the NC Counseling Office.
