GBA Proposal • Day Ahead • rename current methodology to a ‘notification’ or ‘warning’; • clarify the day ahead ‘notification’ trigger methodology within the UNC; • ‘notification’ will be in place until the end of the applicable Gas Day; • Alert • can be issued at any time from day ahead to on the day with information on the applicable day; • will be issued with additional information on the reason why; • when issued, will supersede the ‘notification’; • can be withdrawn at any time, with an explanation as to why.

  7. Additional information provision • Publication of NSS breakdown with supporting notes when changed • Publication of additional information via ANS message on rationale for publication of ‘Alert’ • Publish more detailed information post ‘Alert’ • Discuss ‘Alert’ at Gas Forum

  8. GBA Next Steps • Submit modification proposal to February 2012 panel • Aim to implement any changes for winter 2012/13
