Brendan Williams has earned degrees from The Evergreen State College (B.A.), the University of Washington School of Law (J.D.), and Washington State University (M.A., Criminal Justice).
While Brendan Williams was an undergraduate, the student governments of the state's five public universities elected him president of the Washington Student Lobby. As a child, Brendan lived in the Evergreen Villages' low-income housing complex in West Olympia.
In 1998, Brendan Williams stepped into the practical field of the judiciary as a Judicial Law Clerk in Washington Supreme Court. After two years he became Executive Director of Washington Health Care Association and served for almost 5 years.
In 2005, Brendan Williams served Thurston country’s 22nd Legislative District as a state representative. In 2010, he became Deputy Commissioner for Policy and Affairs. Being on this post he supervised a staff of 11, oversaw rulemaking, policy analysis and development and legislative work on consumer protection and health care.
In the same year, Brendan Williams became an attorney at Law Office of Brendan Williams (Olympia, WA). He primarily oversaw labor-management agreement between nursing home owners and Service Employees Int'l Union, local 755.
Today Brendan Williams is president of New Hampshire Health Care Association and runs trade association for 90 long term care facilities.
