What is Title One? • Title I is the largest single federal funding source for education • About half of NC’s public schools are Title I schools and all of the state’s school districts receive Title I funding. • Title I funding is allocated to schools based on the number of low-income students in a school. • Title I funds help students who are behind academically or are at risk of falling behind.

  11. What are we doing to address our deficiencies • School wide programs- • Panther of the month correlated to monthly character trait. • School-wide behavior programs-PAWS, STARS • Setting up our students and staff for SUCCESS

  12. What we need from you • Uniforms-Fridays are school spirit day with purchase JP clothing through PTO • Homework • Check folders • Arrival time 8:10/ Breakfast cut off 8:15 tardy bell • Dismissal at 2:40- No check outs after 2pm • 10 dollar instructional fee, Please pay this goes directly to the classroom and field trips.
