  2. Background Andre Maurice who hails originally from Detroit brings a soulful R&B and Reggae sound; he also fuses his vocal skills with other genres such as Funk, Rock & Latin. His soon to be released album, I COME UP HARD, is a reflection of Andre's life experiences. His ability to take those experiences and express them through his music shows his growth and development since he hit the Hollywood scene a few years ago.

Andre Maurice • Andre` Maurice’s attributes in the field of entertainment have proven to be a force beyond the man himself.  Branching out  from the Motown World of Detroit, he has touched down the streets of LA as an Artist & Club Promoter for music and comedy events, Artist Relations Specialist, and Booking Agent. He has the entertainment scene all wrapped up. • Andre` brings that soulful sound of Motown back to the forefront of music, with a touch of R&B and Reggae. He covers all music in his delivery! • He has performed and/or recorded with, Al Hudson of One Way (re-recorded Version of Cutie Pie), Judge Mathis (Herman Garden Re-union project), Too Short, Michigan & Smiley, Fully Fullwood, Shinehead, Gavinchi, One Drop Redemption, and LaDeeDRED. The Streets of Detroit know  Andre` as a Super Power in connecting people together in the entertainment life.  As such, he has collaborated and promoted such great artists as Jam Master J. (of Run DMC), DJ Quik, 2nd II None, The Piston's Automation Dancers, Jack The Rapper; HBO Def Jam’s Comedians: Spanky Hayes, Mike Bonner, BoBo Lamb, Huey Bell, Tony Roberts,. • Performed at such venues as "Whiskey A Go Go", Fais Do Do, Mozambique & the SawDust Art Festival in Laguna Beach, The Dub Club, The Key Club, University of Irvine. He has graced Santa Monica Twilight Dance Series at the Santa Monica Pier, and the Sand Bar in Santa Barbara, CA. • Had the privilege of doing a Cab Calloway rendition for "Califia's Topsy Turvey.  Andre` starred as the lead in the play, “Café Gladys Place.” You can also catch this multi-faceted artist in the trailer: "Bikini Car Wash", Produced by OMNI Entertainment.
