Stephanie Wögerer • VET • job orientation • in the area “kitchen” – main activity cooking • one year left • if she doesn‘t find a job – has to go home she will have to search for a job on her own • visiting her boyfriend will be challenging • parents choose VET, she likes it now • thinks is hard to find a job in her home town, she can not do the offered jobs • parents say she can’t make it: e.g. bookshop, she likes to read Caritas für Menschen mit Behinderungen

Simone Bauer • VET • Job orientation – area industry (building candles, company: lamps, ventilation of lamps, cables…) • likes the VET program • “Jugend am Werk” chose job for her course/internship, learning help waited for 2 to 3 years for getting into JO • Wished Job • Painter, retail industry (shelf care), kitchen • wants to make a teaching profession • thinks she can get a job at her home town Caritas für Menschen mit Behinderungen

5. Simone Bauer • School: • Internship: retail industry, hairdresser • got enough information • Had already a job: • Spa Hotel • Kitchen • was bullied by colleagues because she didn’t want to talk • quit the job Caritas für Menschen mit Behinderungen

Friederike Pamminger • VET: • VIA NOVA / house keeping: service and waiting • next week extern modul of SPAR: shelf keeping • likes it, likes the kitchen • After school: • had no work for 2/3 months • Employment service Austria (AMS)  projekt “Frau Genau” (for one year)  state didn’t extended her palce • then VIA NOVA • Frau Genau: one internship, employer quit after 2/3 days - too slow Caritas für Menschen mit Behinderungen

7. Friederike Pamminger • JOB: • wants to be shelf keeper or work in a kitchen • wants to make a vocational education • comes from the country side – will be difficult to find a job • School: • “enrolment” – they said she has to go to a special school because of learning disabilities • special school marks were not good – she thinks she is not able to make a vocational education • teacher said it will be difficult to get an education for her • got to less information/internships (got already 5 chances) • German was hard, other subjects good marks • Companies are having prejudice against special schools, (they are bad skilled) only work for “good” students Caritas für Menschen mit Behinderungen

Tanja Schypani • School: • school for people with special needs • got no information about work opportunities, no internship • VET: • industry: butting plaster into boxes • had the chance fo a try out within a company • likes it • already 2 years within VET, one year left to choose a job • Job: • industrial work • she doesn’t know if she wants to do vocational educatio • Comes from the country side – no job at home Caritas für Menschen mit Behinderungen
