Education/Training LPNs and LVNs must complete an accredited program that takes about a year. You can take high school classes or take classes in community colleges. Theses programs give certifications. LPNs also have to get a licenses. After you have gotten your certificate, LPNs and LVNs takes a National Council Licensure Examination. Then they must get their license and work as a LPN or LVN in all states
Qualifications, skills, or other talents Patience- Dealing with ill people can be difficult and stressful. Speaking skills- It’s very important for patients to understand what your saying. Compassing- You must treat all of your patients with kindness. Detail oriented- All ways be on time to the job. Must make sure you give patients treatment at the right time. Interpersonal skills- Health care and Interacting skills are a big part of the job.
Duties -Monitor patients health -Provide for the basic comfort -Keep records of patients’ health -Be required to work shifts longer than 8 hours
