  4. Target Markets • Commercial • Logistics companies that can streamline processes • Residential • We can improve the efficiency in every day commuting • Downtown areas where traffic is congested and an alternate route is needed

  6. Android App • Application will be used to collect speed and location data from users • Users will receive updates to their phone based on the queue detection algorithm • Future plan: • Interface with the car to take additional measurements • Access to features

  7. Bluemix • The app will communicate to the Bluemix service (cloud-based) • CloudantNoSQL DB • Apache spark • Used to implement the machine learning algorithm • Will develop the algorithm in the future

  8. Technological Roadmap • Prototype the infrastructure • Use a simple algorithm to detect queues • Run tests • Develop better machine learning algorithm • Increase capabilities of the app • Look at other information that can be captured
