FM need to get involved with: • Deal Makers - Opex - R&M schedule (lessor v lessee) - Find what is being agreed eg tenant spec (are there any unusual requests) • Project Delivery - Base build spec - Maintenance spec - PM - Design stage - Consultants , Architects, Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Fire
-Project Delivery cont - Build stage - Head contractor - Check the sub contractor list - Attend PCG mtgs, beginning , when req’d, 1- 2 mths before PC - PC – Handover - Introduce maint service provider - Defects/warranty period - BIM, Contract docs, As-builts - Engineers seismic report/certification
